Some email accounts automatically disappears from cpanel while transferring account from once server to another server. So you need to follow the below instruction the resolve the issue.

1. First of all verify the etc and mail directories and their permissions in user’s home directory (/home/username). As below.

#cd /home/username
#ls –la

Output as below

drwxr-x— 3 username mail 4096 Dec 3 00:07 etc/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 16 06:44 mail/

and etc/ directory should be below contents

#cd /home/username/etc

Output as below

drwxr-x— 3 username mail 4096 Dec 16 06:44 domain.com/

-rw-r—– 2 username mail 804 Oct 1 04:13 passwd
-rw-r—– 2 username mail 65 Sep 15 12:45 quota
-rw-r—– 2 username username 485 Oct 1 04:13 shadow
#cd /home/username/etc/domain.com
#ls -la
drwxr-x— 3 username mail 4096 Dec 16 06:44 ./
drwxr-x— 3 username mail 4096 Dec 3 00:07 ../
-rw-r—– 2 username mail 804 Oct 1 04:13 passwd
-rw-r—– 1 username mail 3579 Oct 1 04:13 passwd,v
drwxr-x— 2 username mail 4096 Oct 1 04:37 \@pwcache/
-rw-r—– 2 username mail 65 Sep 15 12:45 quota
-rw-r—– 1 username mail 1479 Sep 15 12:45 quota,v
-rw-r—– 2 username username 485 Oct 1 04:13 shadow
-rw-r—– 1 username username 5012 Oct 1 04:13 shadow,v

Then verify the mail/ directory that user’s home directory exits or not.

#cd /home/username/mail/domain.com
#ls –la
drwxr-x–x 11 username username 4096 Oct 1 04:13 ./
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 16 06:44 ../
drwxr-x— 10 username username 4096 Dec 12 05:58 akanksha/
drwxr-x— 10 username username 4096 Dec 16 00:05 ashutosh/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 16 06:44 ask/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 4 23:46 devesh/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 16 06:44 enquiry/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Sep 15 12:45 info/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Jul 29 08:17 mandar/
drwxr-x–x 9 username username 4096 Dec 5 21:50 nakul/
drwxr-x–x 11 username username 4096 Dec 13 23:16 rasika/

2. To fix the mail permission please execute the below command.

#/scripts/mailperm

3.This generally happens due to mass of cache, temp files etc present in the .cpanel directory of domain. You can remove the “.cpanel” directory inside the path /home/cpaneluser/. The issue will be solved.
